Current University of Maryland Undergraduate Students

  • If you are a current student at the University of Maryland and were enrolled in spring semester 2010, you may register for all summer sessions courses without completing a summer application.

New Undergraduate Admits for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011

  • Students who have accepted fall semester 2010 admission to the University may register without completing a summer term application.
  • Students who have accepted spring semester 2010 admission to the University must complete the Summer Term visiting undergraduate application. The application fee is waived. You'll receive an e-mail with on-line registration instructions once your application has been processed (within 24 business hours of submission).

Visiting Students

Visiting undergraduate students must complete a Summer Term Admissions Application. This includes:

  • Students who attended another 2- or 4-year institution in the fall 2010 semester,
  • Students who attended University of Maryland in a prior term as a visiting student,
    • You must re-apply for admission for Summer Term.
  • College graduates who wish to register for undergraduate courses,
  • Prospective Undergraduate Degree Students,
    • University of Maryland formally admits undergraduate students for the fall and spring semesters only. If you have not been formally admitted to a degree program at the university, but wish to take a course during Summer Term, you may apply as a visiting student.
  • High School Graduates
    • High school graduates must have earned a grade point average of 2.0 or better to be admitted to Summer Term.
  • Institute students must comply with individual institute requirements.
