When to Pay

Payment due dates are determined by the date of a student's initial registration. Students are responsible for paying their account charges by the following due dates.

Enrolled into Freshmen First Payment in full due by
March 21-May 18 May 20
May 19-June 18 June 20
June 19-July 18 July 20
On or after July 19 Within 24 hours of acceptance

Access Account Balance:

  • Visit MyUM
  • Log in using your directory ID/password.

Payment may be made by check or money order (made payable to University of Maryland) or by credit card. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Cancellation and Withdrawal

Cancellation: Means that you are canceling registration of your program package before the first day of the Freshmen First program.

Withdrawal: Means that you are canceling registration of your program package between the first day and the last day of the Freshmen First program. A notation of withdrawn will post to your student record if you cancel your registration after the third day of class. This has no effect on your enrollment status for the upcoming semester.

Cancellation or withdrawal requests must be received in writing (via mail, e-mail, fax, or in person). Send the request, containing student name and ID number to:
