Registration Deadlines

Summer Term 2009 course registration begins February 23, 2009. Registrations made after the dates below will incur a $20.00 late registration fee.

It is your responsibility to notify the University if you register and later decide not to attend. Failure to cancel registration will result in financial obligation to the University even though you do not attend class. If you are only registered for one course and choose to drop it after classes begin, this is a withdrawal from the University and will be recorded on your academic transcript.

Cancellation requests must be received in writing (via mail, e-mail, fax, or in person) by the Office of Extended Studies prior to the first day of the session in which you are enrolled. Send the request for cancellation, containing student name, student ID, and statement of registration cancellation to:

How to Register

The following are three ways to register for the Summer Term. (If you have submitted an application, action will not be taken on your registration until your application has been processed.)

Web Site Click here to access on-line registration. System hours are Monday-Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday, 5-11 p.m.
Mail or Fax Click here to access a printable Summer Term registration form. Contact information is on the form.
In Person Visit the Office of Extended Studies, 0132 Main Administration Building, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Confirmation of registration, along with your Summer Term ID (for visiting students), will be mailed to students registering by May 10, 2009. If you register after May 10 and are a visiting student, you may pick up your ID card at Student Services, Mitchell Building, 1st floor, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Late Registration

A $20.00 late registration fee will be assessed for registrations initiated on or after the first day of classes for each summer session. During late registration, all tuition, fees, and outstanding balances must be paid within 24 hours.

“Non-standard Course” Registration

During the normal registration periods for each session, you may register for courses that vary in beginning dates from summer sessions’ starting dates. Courses varying in length from the regular summer session will have late registration, schedule adjustment, and other dates adjusted proportionately to the length of the course.
