The Principles of Public Health Certificate (PHC) is an online post-baccalaureate program with a 15 credit (five courses) rigorous and engaging multi-disciplinary curriculum that provides a foundation in the core principles of public health. It can be completed in as little as eight months without taking leave time from work. The program resides in the Department of Health Services Administration in the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland.

Principles of Public Health Certificate core courses include

You do not have to take leave time from work and can complete the certificate program in as little as eight months. All credits for the core courses can be applied toward the Executive Master of Public Health Practice and Policy (Executive MPH) at the University of Maryland if you should decide to apply and are accepted into the Executive MPH program.
