- Dining Dollars Card:
- Used for lunch, Monday-Friday, various on-campus eateries
- University Meal Deal Card:
- Used for all dinners and most weekend meals
- Please note: All dinners and weekend meals are taken off-campus at participating eateries in the City of College Park.
Dietary Accommodations
During the fall and spring academic semesters, the Department of Dining Services offers a variety of foods and preparations that are wide-ranging and satisfy most dietary requirements. During Summer Term, however, Dining Services offers a limited number of choices. As a result, dinner and weekend meals are held at off-campus eateries and the program can only provide limited accommodations for dietary needs.
If you require dietary accommodations, you must contact Eric Johnson, program coordinator, Office of Extended Studies, via e-mail at johnsone@umd.edu, or phone 301-405-6551. Only students who identify their needs well in advance can be assured of proper accommodation upon their arrival on campus.
Dining Locations
- Dining Dollars: University of Maryland campus eateries
- There are a variety of campus eateries that accept Dining Dollars. You’ll be given location information at orientation. Weekday lunches generally occur noon-1:30 p.m., depending on class schedule.
- University Meal Deal Cards: College Park dining locations
- At orientation, you’ll be given a list of the available eateries in and around College Park that accept the University Meal Deal Card. These eateries are located within walking distance of the campus in the City of College Park. All weekday dinners and weekend meals will be taken at participating locations, giving participants a glimpse of the amenities available in town.
